Process Post #11: The End

This course has come to an end and this will be the last blog post I will create for this course. It is a bittersweet feeling, I am glad that I am finished not only this course, but my last semester as an undergrad but it now all comes to an end. When I first started this course, I had no idea what to expect. At first I was unsure about having to create a blog and keep it maintained every week but I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought. I am someone who does not like to write and has a hard time coming up with what to write. This is something I have always struggled with but with these blog posts it didn’t seem like that. There were times in the semester where I had no clue what I wanted to write on, but for many of the weekly blog posts, I look forward to writing about the skincare portion of the blog. The process posts were a little more difficult to get started on because sometimes I felt like there wasn’t much else I wanted to write about. But regardless, I was surprised to find myself writing blog posts and not wanting to stop! Some of the posts I got really passionate about and felt like I could write forever about creams or toners.

Another thing I really enjoyed about this course was how self directed it could be. I liked the freedom of being able to write about what I wanted to, which made it a lot easier to complete the weekly blog posts. The lectures were also really awesome. I love class discussions and being able to talk about current events and social media created such great conversations in the class making it all very entertaining. As someone in their 7th year of their undergrad I was a bit skeptical joining a 100 level course but I’m really glad that I took the course and ended my last semester on this positive experience. So, huge thank you to both Suzanne Norman and Ellen Michelle for a wonderful class! #POSIEL
